Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform
• Integrate iOS applications into a larger family of applications for Windows, Mac, Android and cloud services
• Work with design teams to make UI effective and beautiful
• Instrument mobile applications to improve responsiveness, fixing bugs where needed
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
• Assist in conducting usability tests with targeted users
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new releases of iOS applications

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or similar degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of software development experience specializing in iOS development
• Have published iOS apps in the app store
• A deep familiarity with Objective-C and Cocoa Touch
• Experience working with iOS frameworks such as iCloud, Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics and Core Text
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
• Self-drive to take challenges head-on and achieve goals
• Excel at working in small, dynamic and fast-paced groups
• Familiar with agile or test-driven software development processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Passion for and demonstrated continuing education
• Experience using distributed version control like Git, Bazaar, Mercurial
